What counts toward a job

One transcode job = one input file. The first 5 minutes of source video are included in the base price. Overage applies above that.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as one job?
For transcode: one job = one input file → one output file. Pricing is based on source video length, not processing time. The first 5 minutes are included in the $0.25 base. Overage is $0.08 per source minute above that. This applies equally across all H.264 profiles (Baseline, Main, High), VP9/WebM, MP3, and GIF. ProRes 422 (mov_prores) is a flat $0.50 per job regardless of duration. For document conversion: one job = one file converted, regardless of format or file size — always $0.05.
Do credits expire?
Never. Your wallet balance rolls over indefinitely. Buy Pack L in January, use it through December — every cent stays available.
What if my agent submits an invalid file?
Botverse runs pre-flight validation before any job is queued. If the file fails (too long, too large, unreadable), you are not charged. The tool returns an error the agent can act on immediately.
What happens if my balance hits zero mid-batch?
Jobs are rejected at submission with a 402 Insufficient Balance error — clear and actionable for your agent. No jobs start without confirmed funds. Enable auto-refill in your dashboard to keep bots running uninterrupted.
Can I get a refund on unused credits?
We don't offer refunds on credit packs, but credits never expire — there's no reason to rush through them. If you have a specific situation, email support@botverse.cloud.
Is there volume pricing above Pack L?
Yes. If you're running more than 10,000 jobs per month, contact us for enterprise pricing.
